Even well-maintained and newer paint commonly has some level of wash marring, haze or isolated defects. H1’s normal process includes inspection, decontamination, the appropriate level of correction, panel preparation and ceramic installation.
The correction is matched to the vehicle—not automatically overbuilt—but the goal is to improve the finish before preserving it.

Is paint correction recommended before ceramic coating?
Yes. Most vehicles have at least some light marring, haze, wash marks or other defects. H1 normally recommends correcting the paint to the appropriate level before coating so the protected finish looks its best.
Can I book coating without paint correction?
It is possible when the paint is already correction-ready—such as a properly corrected vehicle or a rare new vehicle with genuinely defect-free paint. H1 will inspect it first. Coating without correction is available, but it is not the usual recommendation.
Does a new vehicle ever need correction?
Often, yes. New vehicles can still have transport marks, dealership wash damage or light defects. Some need very little work, while others need more. The correction scope stays proportional to what the paint actually requires.
Why does Square show a 24-hour service window?
The current Premium Ceramic Coating booking reserves a 24-hour block for every vehicle category. That protects enough time for preparation, correction, coating and initial curing. H1 confirms the exact handoff schedule before the appointment.
